Garlic Group Buy and Class

Each fall, the Tooele Valley Gardening Association (TVGA) organizes a community bulk purchase of premium planting garlic from trusted growers. By combining orders into one large group buy, local gardeners can purchase high-quality hardneck and softneck garlic bulbs at a lower cost than buying small quantities individually.

A list of available garlic varieties is published ahead of time so participants can review the selections and place pre-orders.

The garlic is distributed at the TVGA Garlic Growing Class held each October, perfectly timed for late-fall planting. During the class, local instructors share practical tips on variety selection, planting techniques, soil preparation, and how to grow large, healthy garlic in Tooele Valley gardens.
